How does it work?

All of my listings are priced based on each layout, but the flowers, colours and wording can be changed to whatever you like (as long as the amount of elements stay the same as the listing you purchase).

Once you've decided on a listing and purchased email me at jade@paintedlovecustoms.co.uk with your wording, colour scheme and any flower types you'd like me to include (photos and pinterest boards are always a huge help!). I'll then come up with a mock up design which will be sent to you to approve before I paint your jacket.

How long does a design take to complete?

Jackets, shoes & bags usually have a turnaround time of 6-8 weeks, however this can fluctuate throughout the year depending on demand, so please check with me before ordering if you need your item for a specific date.

I've seen a layout I like but I want to change the flowers and colours, is that OK?

Yes! this is exactly how I work. The easiest way to explain is:

-Select the design closest to how you'd like your jacket to look,

-Send me details of what you'd like changing (flowers/wording/colour scheme).

-I'll then adapt the design and create something completely bespoke based on the information you've provided.

Why isn't the jacket included in the price? Do I need to send you a jacket?

We all know fast fashion is a huge issue, and there's something lovely about repurposing something you thought you'd never wear again into a brand new product you can be proud of. If you don't have an old jacket (or shoes or bag), that's fine! I'm happy to have jackets sent to me directly. Once you've purchased I'll provide all the details you'll need to be able to send your jacket to me.

The other reason is that we are all different shapes and sizes; I'd hate to purchase a jacket on your behalf and spend three days painting for it to arrive with you and not fit properly!

Why are there so many different prices?

Each product is priced individually to reflect the amount of time and work that goes into each design. For example, something with 5-6 large flowers or a skull element will take way longer than something which is foliage only or has a few small flowers. Leather and denim are also priced differently (denim takes much longer to paint and requires more ink).

What materials can you work on?

I can work on any of the below. All I ask is that items sent are in a reasonably clean condition and free from any marks/rips or stains that could impact the design:

• Leather
• Faux/ Vegan leather
• PU
• Suede
• Denim
• Canvas

If the material of your item isn’t listed please message me to confirm suitability prior to ordering. Unfortunately patent Doc Martens are unsuitable as the inks will not adhere to the surface correctly.

Won't the paint just wash off?

Absolutely not! The inks I use are completely waterproof, fade proof and won't budge with light cleaning. As with all fabric products that get worn outside I'd always recommend storing out of direct sunlight and using a waterproofing spray before winter.

Do you ship internationally?

I’m happy to ship worldwide, however as all of my work is painting only I would need to source a jacket for you here in the U.K. and add this to the listing price (I’d also need to add on shipping costs).
